The PCM has no problem reading the RPM and displaying it. I've seen 87-8800 before on a lot of logs from cars that will never get past 7800/8200 under load. I do know the 2015 PCM is happy up to at least 8500Īlso, don't be fooled by over revs and shift flares. With some time digging around in the code, I'm sure someone could figure it out.
